Arrest and development

A man unaffiliated with the Medical Center, who had an outstanding warrant held by Durham Police Department, got into a verbal confrontation with a patient in Duke North Hospital Tuesday night. DPD took the man to the county jail.

An employee at Duke North reported receiving harrassing phone calls.

Hit and run

The gate arm to the public policy lot was reportedly broken, and the vehicle suspected to cause the damage was identified.
