Team USA's training camp in Las Vegas at the end of June was supposed to decide who would be playing for Mike Krzyzewski in the Olympics in Beijing and who would be watching back in the States. Now, it will just be practice for the 12 Olympians.
USA Basketball Managing Director Jerry Colangelo said Tuesday that Krzyzewski and him would narrow the team down from 14 to 12 before the Americans begin their camp on the UNLV campus June 28. Originally, the last cut was supposed to occur June 30. The deadline to submit Olympic rosters is July 1.
