Sometimes it seems like Winter Break is the forgotten vacation from school. After all, MTV doesn't have Room Raiders: Winter Break Edition. But there are plenty of fun and exciting things to do with your three weeks off. Just make sure you don't eat any yellow snow.
Skiing: Hitting the Slopes:
Whether you're zig-zagging through the fresh powder in Colorado or staying closer to home, skiing is always fun. Bonus points if you get lucky with the hottie drinking cocoa in the lodge.
B+ for the Great Outdoors
Caribbean: Work on that Tan:
It might be 19 below and sleeting where you live, but in Aruba, it's always 85 and sunny. You can never go wrong with bathing suits, tanning oil and those little drinks with the umbrellas stuck in them.
A+ for Fun in the Sun
Home: Parked in front of the TV:
If you're a sports fan, you can't do much better than Winter Break. With college football on the tube every day and Duke-Gonzaga on December 21st, there's plenty to watch.
C for It's Still Home
K-Ville: Blue Devil Dedication:
If you want a great seat for the UNC game February 7th, you're going to have to get out there early. Enjoy getting pneumonia from that muddy swamp; two hours in the front row will totally be worth it.
F for Cold and Boring
New York: Christmas in the Big Apple:
The City that Never Sleeps, with its Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Plaza, is a great option for the holiday season any year, but the Duke-Gonzaga game in the Garden makes this year extra special.
A- for Bright Lights
Working: Dealing with the Holiday Rush:
There's nothing wrong with going back to that summer job at the Mall-you can make a few bucks before you go back to school. Crazy last-minute Christmas shoppers, though, are no fun.
