Even though the sophomore injured his foot this preseason, he returned just in time to help the young Blue Devil squad at the point. He quarterbacks a team that despite its youth and relative inexperience has still found a spot in the Top 25. Last year's Sweet 16 team graduated four starting seniors, but this year's squad still has high hopes. Paulus, fellow sophomore Josh McRoberts and junior DeMarcus Nelson captain this year's team-the youngest Blue Devil squad since World War II. -Sarah Kwak
