Sasha, your beautiful, infectious smile is forever imprinted in my memory. Every time I think of you, I remember how your enthusiasm and zest for life spread to everyone around you. In high school, you were one of the few younger girls who was loved by all of the older kids, because you would win people over with your undeniable warmth. From the people who grew up with you, to those who were lucky enough to just know you, everyone that you touched was a better person for having met you. I only regret the things about you I never got a chance to know, and that your classmates at Duke had only one short semester to spend with a person as bright and unique as you. Your laughter resonates in our hearts, and we will always remember you.
