Robbery goes down near law school
A student reported an armed robbery in the law school parking lot at 9:05 p.m. Oct. 7. The victim reported he was approached by two men as he got out of his car and said one of the men pointed what appeared to be a gun at him and demanded his money. The victim at first thought this was a joke and ignored the men. The suspect struck the victim in the head, however, and again demanded his money. The student told the men he did not have any money and was struck again by the suspects. The suspects left the area on foot after the victim gave them his wallet, which contained two credit cards.
The first suspect is described as a black male around six feet tall, with a medium muscular build and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a very thin five-foot, six-inch black male wearing a gray jacket and white shirt.
