Cameron Indoor Stadium is a humble basketball facility. It is euphemistically described as cozy, and--as with the United States' Senate chamber--its first-time visitors usually chortle that it is "much smaller than it looks on TV." But this intimate environment has served as the setting and foundation of one of the greatest programs in all of college athletics. It is steeped in tradition and is often considered the home of the sport that propelled Duke University into the athletic and national limelight.
