I am writing this article on a dirty napkin on the desk that once contained my computer.
"Why?" you ask.
ESPNMotion killed my computer.
ESPN.com, in a stroke of truly revolutionary genius, developed a program that downloads video footage while your computer is idle, so that when you return from class, you can find crisp, clear clips of SportsCenter highlights (and old ESPN commercials) online. This innovation dramatically changes the landscape of sports websites, propelling ESPN.com far in front of the pack.
The sole problem with ESPNMotion is that I have yet to meet a person who has not had computer problems after downloading the bulky program. But, the thought process of many a sports addict is much like mine: download ESPNMotion, enjoy the merry bliss for a few days, drop the computer off at OIT and reinstall ESPNMotion when the computer returns.
I will likely get my computer back again soon from OIT, along with warnings that it cannot handle media-heavy programs like this one, but I wonder: If my computer cannot handle ESPNMotion, is it even worth having?
