Letter: Slovik stands out as most qualified DSG candidate

Without a doubt, Matthew Slovik stands out as the most competent and qualified candidate for Duke Student government president in this year's election. Given his track record for rising above petty politics, transcending ornery attitudes and an unprecedented capacity to manage the polygot of talent that is Duke Student Government, I see no reason to vote for any other candidate. Having spent a year working with Matt as a friend, a protege and a mentor, I am truly confident in his abilities to channel the vast energy of DSG into a strong team-based administration that will work both proactively and reactively with the student body that courageously placed him at its helm. In short, Matthew Slovik stands out as the only true leader in this year's DSG presidential election.
