Letter: Cameron streaker apologizes to Duke community

I would like to apologize to the Duke community for the streaking incident that occurred during the first half of the Duke-UNC basketball game. The enthusiasm and creativity of the Cameron Crazies has always been admirable.

Unfortunately, my actions were the result of a zealous enthusiasm that portrayed the Crazies, the team and the University in a bad light. While my behavior was misguided and inappropriate, my intentions were not, and I regret the result of my decision. I displayed a level of class well below the esteemed reputation of the Duke team and its fans. My display of creativity exceeded the level that was appropriate for the occassion. I'm sorry that my behavior so poorly reflected on the University.
