Klein advertisements objectify students

How often will The Chronicle's editorial page complain about how our culture is making students, all of us, out to be sexual objects? And then The Chronicle vends the Calvin Klein fragrance flyer of last Friday. This doesn't smell so good.

Are you really that hard up for money? Guess you've found out where there is lots of money, like in Newtie's pockets. Wow, Calvin Klein's images of you sure are tough and cool. Even at my age, I am not yet that sure of myself. Nor do I yet wish to sell out to Madison Avenue--not like you do.
