From staff reports
The Duke football team announced the addition of two new coaches to its staff on Friday. George Edwards, the outside linebacker coach at Appalachian State for the past two seasons, will continue to work with linebackers at Duke. Edwards is a 1989 Duke graduate and a member of that year's ACC championship team. He earned four letters as a linebacker.
Joe DeLamielleure arrives from Liberty University where he was the offensive line coach. DeLamielleure brings a wide range of hands-on experience as he was a six-time NFL Pro Bowl selection at offensive line for the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns between 1973-84. He was also earned All-America honors in 1972 during his senior season at Michigan State. During his years at Buffalo, DeLamielleure was one of the key blockers for record-setter O.J. Simpson. He will work primarily with the offensive line.
