I would just like to point out that I'm sick of Republicans flagellating over our Supreme Leader. While just a rumor, I also heard they have strange bedfellows.

i presume the editors were thrilled to not correct justin's misuse of "myself" in place of "me"?

oooooo

ad hominem attacks!

great way to prove the intellectual merit of opinions in a debate!

Every time this guy writes something in the Chronicle he leaves a bad taste in my mouth -- from his rude dismissal of Zach Perret as not one of the "serious candidates" for YT to this glorious piece. If you have a problem with the Chronicle's "bias," how about writing a civil letter to the editor and laying off the overblown mocking? There's a way to be polite in discourse like this. Maybe you're learning a little bit too well from national Republicans.

sap20...where do you get off acting like national Republicans and not national Democrats have a flair for the overdramatic and excessive?

It's all politics...and by the way, Perret clearly wasn't a serious candidate based on the YT election results.
