Is this correct? Was this allowed in the past?

If it's a typo, so be it. If it's not, how can she say with a straight face that the process isn't broken?

This wasn't allowed in the past. Turner was stating something that is self-evident. I don't know why the Chronicle thought it was a valuable point to print. It would have been valuable only if DSG had allowed YTNC members to run for Young Trustee.

I don't know that I would call it a typo, just a fact of little interest.
