In addition to missing out on Cardi B's Tinder concert, Last Day of Classes headliner GoldLink will also not be making an appearance in Durham this week.
Sophomores Morgan Bird and Andrew Oliver, LDOC committee co-chairs, announced the shakeup in an email Monday morning. They wrote that the rest of the lineup would remain the same and that they are looking to add an additional artist to take Goldlink’s place.
“We recognize that GoldLink would not have cancelled his performance except for something serious,” Bird and Oliver wrote. “We wish him all the best.”
Other LDOC performers this year include Quinn XCII, who recently released the new song “Winnebago” and Seeb, a group that just released a new album called “Nice to Meet You.”
